'He had his fair share of heartache and his mum means the world to him.'But the 22-year-old is determined to look after his mother and calls her every day to keep her spirits up.'I try to give my mum lots of love and affection,' Cristiano tells the Sunday Mirror.'I'm just sorry I can't be with her for her birthday.'
